Our Top 5 Suggestions for an Unforgettable Glamping Hen Party

Organising a hen party for your friend is one of the greatest honours you can be given. Once you’ve come up with the all-important guest list and found a date that works for you all, it’s time to decide what to do and hen party glamping is the perfect option for all brides to be.

If you’re looking for something with a relaxed vibe and a chance to make amazing memories with your girl gang, then hen party glamping could be just the thing for you. You can involve fun and games or make it outdoorsy and chill, depending on what the bride-to-be would like the most.

Look at our list below for some fab ideas when planning an unforgettable glamping hen party for your bestie.

1.  Create a Mini Festival

Recreate your best memories by whacking up the tunes and jamming to some of your favourite songs from back in the day. Add some glitter and wellies for effect but avoid the mud and queues! You can just enjoy dancing along to some of your favourite tunes with your best friends and make new memories that will last a lifetime.

2. Play Some Lawn Games

Split your group up into teams, set up some old-school games and encourage a bit of cheeky competition with prizes for the winners. This is great if there is a group of people who don’t know each other well at the glamping hen party. Games like egg and spoon races, Jenga and sack races are great fun and won’t cos the earth to set up either.

3.  Food, Glorious Food!

With lots of mouths to feed, get everyone to help cook a huge meal such as tapas or mezze so there are lots of things to try out and everyone is catered for. Gather around a big table or set up a picnic blanket outside and eat, drink and chat until the early hours at the glamping hen party.

4. Get out and get exploring

Break up the weekend of glamping with a little trip outdoors. Get everyone in the car and go exploring in the nearby town or village to check out some local shops and treat yourself to a pub lunch. Check out the local bars and clubs for a dance and giggle then head back to your glamping hen do bell tent for a night under the stars.

Or maybe a trip to the local woods for a local nature walk is more your bride-to-be’s thing. Get your hiking boots on and spend the day exploring the great British countryside before rewarding yourselves with hot chocolate and pizza back at basecamp.

5. Chat, Chat, Chat.

Build a fire, get cosy with some blankets, open a bottle of wine and take some time to connect with friends, both old and new. Sometimes the best evenings are those that just flow with no plans, just good company. That is what hen party glamping is all about after all.

Our Hen party glamping options are endless. Have a chat with us about our hen party glamping ideas and find out how we can help you with the planning, just email us on victoria@victorialilyevents.co.uk as we would love to chat.

5 Tips for Planning Glamping Bell Tent Wedding This Summer

Glamping weddings are the best! Having the option to continue the party into the night or make the celebrations last a whole weekend is up there with our top reasons to choose Bell Tents for your wedding.

Spending the evening surrounded by the cackle of a camp fire, with the wine flowing and twinkling fairy lights in the background is just perfect. Then waking up with your friends and family to discuss the nights antics over a hot coffee in the morning mist is something magical.

If you’re thinking about booking one of our Bell Tents for your wedding party, here are our top 5 things to consider when planning:

  • Location

Finding a venue for a wedding is a big decision. When considering a Bell Tent wedding, you need to make sure you have enough space for the amount of Bell Tents you’ll need – whether this is hiring a field or using your own back garden. You’ll also need to think about toilets too! We have years of experience in different locations and venues and are happy to chat through your ideas to make sure you’ve covered everything.

We are able to offer our services in London, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire so if you need inspiration or suggestions of venues in these areas, we can help with that too.

  • Quantity needed

Decide on how many Bell Tents you’ll need. This is dependent on how many guests you have and how many you would like in each Bell Tent. We have guest Bell Tents that sleep 1-2 or 3-4 people. We also have a Honeymoon Suite for the newlyweds and a chill-out tent that can host up to 30 people at a time.  Get in touch if you need to chat through your plans and help with the numbers – we like a math-related conundrum!

  • Decide on a theme

Our Bell Tents come with all of the cosy bits you can think of – from rugs and cushions, to fairy lights and bunting. But we also welcome you to bring personal bits and bobs that represent who you are as a couple – so if you have a theme you want to stick to, we’d be happy to chat this through with you and incorporate it where we can.

  • Make sure guests know what to expect

It’s important to let guests know what to expect so they can plan and dress appropriately. Maybe stiletto heels in a field is not the best idea, and a warmer jacket for the evening Is probably sensible. Giving information on parking and sleeping arrangements help people to relax and will make sure everyone has a fantastic time celebrating your big day with you.

  • Plan for rain

There is nothing worse than feeling stressed about the weather forecast a week before your wedding – have a wet weather plan. We are super experienced in the great British weather, so are more than happy to discuss this with you too.

Our Wedding Bell Tent hire options suit all budgets, group sizes, location and comfort. Bell Tent wedding hire is the perfect alternative wedding guest accommodation option and we are able to offer our services in London, Essex, Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. Booking with us is often cheaper than booking a taxi home from a venue, so to find out more, visit www.victorialilyevents.co.uk or email victoria@victorialilyevents.co.uk
